Adult Daytime Courses

TAKE A LOOK AT OUR NEW COOKERY DEMONSTRATION CLASSES.  WE HOST THEM DURING THE DAY AND EVENINGS TOO!

All our courses at the Buttermilk Barn are wonderfully diverse. We cover a wide variety of dishes including dinner party menus, family suppers, pastry making, baking & bread making, delicious puddings and foods from around the world.

Our courses are lifestyle courses aimed at increasing confidence in the kitchen, expanding your repertoire and experiencing different ingredients and techniques.

We cover a different recipe each week, which is demonstrated by one of our very experienced chefs and then reproduced by you, with on-hand assistance, in our well-equipped kitchen. At the end of the class, you get to take away what you have created.
ALL INGREDIENTS ARE INCLUDED IN THE COST OF OUR COURSES AND WHEREVER POSSIBLE WE USE LOCAL, SEASONAL AND FREE-RANGE PRODUCTS.
Aprons and recipes are provided.

  •  It's easy to get in a rut cooking at home - come along to Buttermilk Barn for some fresh ideas!  This short course (3 sessions in total) will cover some delicious main meals which should please the whole family.
